About the opportunity

I'm heading off on maternity leave in ~ January 2026 and we're looking for a warm, skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to care for our patients while I'm away. You'll join a friendly, well-organized team in a modern practice--no evenings, no weekends, and plenty of support.

The nitty-gritty

Fixed-term contract: ~ January 2026 - February 2027 (with training overlap in December 2025).

Hours: ~30 hrs/week ? Mon / Wed / Thu / Fri

Consistent daytime schedule--never work nights or weekends.

Software: ClearDent (experience an asset)

Modern tech: digital charting & iTero-style scanning.

Patient load: 60-min recare, 90-min new pt hygiene/periodontal

Responsibilities

? Provide comprehensive hygiene care--including assessments, scaling, root planing, and patient education--aligned with CDHBC standards.

? Capture digital scans and update digital charting in ClearDent.

? Collaborate closely with dentists, assistants, and admin team to keep the day flowing smoothly.

? Maintain strict infection-control protocols and contribute to a positive, patient-first atmosphere.

What we're looking for

? BC Dental Hygiene licence in good standing.

? 1+ year of clinical experience (newer grads with strong references welcome).

? Confidence with digital workflows (scanning, charting); ClearDent experience a plus.

? Excellent communication skills and genuine chairside warmth.

Compensation & benefits
