Job Description
Our NW boutique dental clinic is privately owned. We are looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to grow with us. We are fully digital with the latest technology. We are seeking someone who is detail oriented and committed to high standards of patient service and care.
We're looking for someone to work 30-40 hours a week, with potential for more hours. No weekends required. Starting wage will be based on experience.
New grads welcome!!
Orthodontic module is an asset but not required
Job Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including exams, fillings, crowns, extractions, and other procedures.
Hand instruments and materials to dentists and keep the work area clean and organized.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatory areas.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and assist with charting.
Educate patients on post-operative care, and preventive dental care.
Ensure all dental materials and instruments are stocked and available for procedures.
Take impressions or iTero scans of patients' teeth for study casts or appliances
