Committed to delivering exceptional oral healthcare services, we are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. Job Summary: As a Registered Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team in providing high-quality care to our patients. You will work closely with the dentist and the rest of the dental staff to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the clinic. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth of a new dental practice while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including general dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for use. Welcome and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort and answering any questions they may have. Take dental radiographs (x-rays) as directed by the dentist. Provide oral hygiene instructions and educate patients on proper dental care. Maintain accurate patient records. Perform dental laboratory procedures, such as fabricating temporary crowns. Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed. Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:

Must be a registered dental assistant in Calgary, Canada, with a valid license from the appropriate regulatory body Experience with "Curve" dental software is an asset but training is provided Completion of a recognized dental assisting program. CPR and First Aid certification Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and practices Proficient in taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Knowledge of dental software and computer proficiency is an asset
