Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Care Aide to join our team in providing exceptional care and support in the community setting. The ideal candidate will assist with daily activities and provide compassionate care to clients.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Work collaboratively with other health care professionals
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Support residents with mobility and transfers
- Assist with activities tailored to clients' needs, including those with dementia or in hospice care
Skills
- Experience in home care, assisted living, long-term care, nursing homes, or senior care preferred
- Proficient in patient care and caregiving
- Knowledge of transfers and using equipment
- Ability to provide specialized care such as dementia care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $28.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
