Please note: we are a one-tiered service model and are seeking RBAs interesting in direct work with clients, families, caregivers, teachers and other support team members.

We work with children and teens within the Toronto area (Toronto, Etobicoke, Scarborough, North York, etc) and provide care in-home, in-school and virtually, based on the needs and goals of the family.

Role Overview:



As an Independent, Contractor, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele and collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct assessments, develop comprehensive behaviour intervention plans, and provide direct and indirect therapy to clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:



Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioural strengths and challenges Develop individualized behaviour intervention plans based on assessment findings Implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to support skill development and behaviour management Provide ongoing support, training, and guidance to clients, families, and caregivers Collaborate with other professionals, including therapists, educators, and healthcare providers, to ensure coordinated care Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment plans Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of practice set forth by the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts (CPBAO) and Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

Qualifications:



Master's Degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology or Developmental Disabilities with study/experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Current certification as a Registered Behaviour Analyst (Ont.) and Ontario Autism Program (OAP) provider Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities Strong clinical skills, including assessment, intervention planning, and behaviour management Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Professional liability insurance Applicant must have reliable transportation or access to a car to commute to client sessions in the community The successful candidate must provide an up to date Police Records Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening)
This role offers flexibility regarding schedule and hours. As hours are based on the length of the client's session and volume of work the applicant wishes to take on.
