(Group2) is a firm focused on using collaborative techniques to deliver value to clients in the recreational, educational, commercial and health care sectors. Group2 was established in Red Deer in 1985 and has studios in Red Deer, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon and Ottawa. Our Calgary studio is currently seeking a motivated Registered Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a team player, well organized individual with a passion for design excellence. In your role as a Registered Architect you will: \xc2\xb7 Responsible for planning, developing and supporting design from the initial concept through construction and project completion. \xc2\xb7 Communicate concepts and coordinate work efforts with architectural team, contractors and engineers. \xc2\xb7 Provide support to the Calgary Studio in project management, architectural design, building code analysis, and marketing. \xc2\xb7 Build relationships with clients through project work and industry involvement. \xc2\xb7 Assist with the preparation of required project documents, minutes, schedules and specifications. \xc2\xb7 Achieve goals in line with the vision of the firm. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with entire team and work on inter-studio projects. Qualifications and Skill Set \xc2\xb7 Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. \xc2\xb7 Demonstrated proficiency in Revit is required. \xc2\xb7 Minimum of 8 years of experience working in an architectural firm. \xc2\xb7 Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Registered Architect at a Canadian Firm. \xc2\xb7 Demonstrate excellent communication and design thinking skills. \xc2\xb7 Detail oriented, efficient, adaptable to changing deadlines and priorities. \xc2\xb7 Ethical and responsible decision-making ability. \xc2\xb7 Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills. \xc2\xb7 Professionalism and ability to successfully interface with clients. \xc2\xb7 Leadership experience and understanding of firm management. \xc2\xb7 Experience with mentorship and ability to manage multiple staff. \xc2\xb7 Design expertise with large scale, public buildings an asset. \xc2\xb7 Track record of collaborating with contractors via integrated delivery models an asset.
