LifeMed Integrative Healthcare & Rehab Centre is currently seeking a Registered Acupuncturist, licensed to practice in the province of Ontario, to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team at our clinics located in Toronto and Mississauga.

We are looking for an Acupuncturist who is collaborative, reliable, highly motivated, and ready to grow within a patient-centered integrative clinic environment.

Responsibilities

Perform acupuncture treatments in accordance with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles to address pain, dysfunction, and internal imbalance Conduct patient assessments using TCM diagnostic tools (e.g., tongue, pulse, palpation) and create individualized treatment plans Administer acupuncture using various techniques such as body, electro-acupuncture, and auricular acupuncture Apply TCM therapies such as tuina (manual therapy), fire/silicone cupping, guasha, and moxibustion Integrate myotherapy-based soft tissue techniques to treat muscle tension, trigger points, and postural dysfunctions Provide assisted stretching and manual therapy to enhance neuromuscular function and rehabilitation Educate patients on lifestyle habits, posture, and therapeutic exercises to support long-term wellness Collaborate with other healthcare providers (e.g., chiropractors, physiotherapists) to deliver integrated care

Qualifications

Valid Registered Acupuncturist license Strong patient care skills with a focus on holistic treatment Proficiency in medical terminology related to acupuncture and alternative medicine Experience working in a hospital setting preferred Ability to develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster patient relationships
