Job Summary

Camrose Wellness is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in TCM diagnosis, balance method/Tung style, tui na, or manual modalities, and possess masterful patient centred care. This role involves providing acupuncture treatments to patients, assessing and diagnosing, and developing personalized treatment plans to promote overall wellness and alleviate various health conditions.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine a TCM diagnosis of individual needs and treatment goals. Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles in accordance with established protocols. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and provide guidance on complementary therapies and lifestyle changes. Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and any changes in condition. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on advancements in acupuncture techniques and practices through continuous education.

Experience

Previous experience is preferred; however, we are willing to take on a new graduate if the fit is right. Proven experience in patient care, showcasing the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations. Strong knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with other healthcare professionals and document patient interactions accurately. Pay: $38.06-$60.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
