As a regional expert, you will understand each market within your region by leveraging local insights to drive market and regional specific strategies. You will regularly assess the competitive landscape and provide regional and local input on opportunities where the region and organization can win. You will have a clear vision and an understanding of the region\xe2\x80\x99s business, culture, and operations while maintaining a long-term, big-picture view, foreseeing obstacles and opportunities, and generating valuable ideas.

The Regional Vice President (RVP) oversees the North/Toronto area.

Responsibilities

  • Develop local strategies and lead a team of District Managers to execute the organizational strategy, elevating our retail store teams, to drive revenue growth.
  • Travel stores to focus on key markets and brand connectivity, identifying opportunities and solutions; coach and develop leaders for optimal performance to achieve sales goals. Develop or support a strategy to close identified performance gaps.
  • Collaborate with key partners to accomplish projects and initiatives (i.e. real estate, capital projects, organizational workstreams, policy or process updates, etc.)
  • Analyze data and leverage strong business acumen to measure and drive performance for the region.
  • Anticipate and monitor competition and business trends throughout the region.
  • Build talent pipeline and leadership capabilities throughout North America
  • Continuously coach, develop and provide qualitative feedback to your district managers, utilizing recognition as well as performance management process to improve team engagement and achieve performance goals.
  • Build a culture of open/constructive dialogue and create the conditions for others to do the same.
Qualifications
  • Strong business acumen with a minimum of 5+ years of multi-store retail operations experience and/or bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree.
  • Successful record of leading a growth-minded multi-unit organization with responsibility for both sales and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrate ability to: drive results; execute business strategy, inspire, influence, and motivate others.
  • Demonstrate ability to consistently embrace challenges, take risks, learn fast and welcome a change.
  • Demonstrate ability to actively listen, learn, and act decisively to employ learnings into strategies, tactics and behaviors.
  • Possess strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to capitalize and apply those skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, define business opportunities, collect, interpret, and analyze abstract information and create strategic value-added solutions.
  • Acquires a strong customer-service orientation and possess collaborative problem-solving skills.
  • Have unquestionable integrity, outstanding professionalism, and the ability to handle critical issues.
  • Demonstrates a passion for expanding sneaker culture and an inherent understanding of how sneaker culture can make a difference in the communities in which we serve.

Physical Demands and Work Enviornment

Physical environment:
  • Primary responsibilities require sitting, operating, and viewing a computer and other business equipment for up to 12 hours.
  • While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear and see.
  • Repetitive movement of hands and fingers.
Work environment:
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
  • Travel is required with a minimum of 50% travel (including overnights)

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $124900 - $170700 USD. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below:
