Conservation Corps Newfoundland and Labrador's employment programs provide young people with meaningful work, training and educational opportunities in the areas of environmental and cultural conservation. We are currently seeking individuals to coordinate and supervise our summer-based employment programs, most notably the Green Team Program. Regional Supervisor is a mentored position that is responsible for recruitment, training, communications, oversight, team dynamics evaluation and management, administrative requirements and other tasks associated with the smooth follow through of ~3-6 teams of ~2-4 individuals each (please note that these numbers may vary) that are working toward the locally determined conservation goals of community partners across the province.
We will require a total of four Regional Supervisors who can be located in any of the following regions: Labrador, Avalon, Metro, Central, and Western/Northern Peninsula.
Important Position Duration Information
:
Regional Supervisors will initially work part time, 10 hrs/week from April 6-May 11, 2026 with flexible scheduling.
RS's will then transition to full-time employment 35 hrs/week from May 11 - August 28, 2026.

Responsibilities:
Recruit, supervise and support youth and students for summer employment programs;
Exercise leadership and sound judgment in developing and maintaining positive relationships with community partners, stakeholders and teams;
Support employees in establishing a safe and healthy work environment;
Facilitate and deliver an extensive training program through workshops, webinars, scheduled activities and other program activities;
Willingness to be flexible with scheduling;
Promote a positive image of CCNL in the community and to local media;
Substantial administrative management (Plan, monitor, evaluate and report on employee's project work and performance);
Focus on developing personal leadership skills in yourself and the youth you lead.

Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment;
Strong interest in developing leadership and supervisory skills;
Excellent organization and communication skills;
Problem-solving ability and a strong work ethic; Sound judgment, creativity and maturity;
Leadership experience with diverse groups of young people would be an asset;
A valid driver's license, access to a vehicle with appropriate insurance, and a willingness to travel;
Preferred candidates would be living in or originate from the region applied. The nature of this position will require travel to teams within the region which may be required on short notice
