If you share these values, then we might be the right place for you.About the Job:We are seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Region Manager for Precision Planting. This individual will work remotely in the territory and manage the dealer network with no direct employee reports. This is an exciting and challenging role that allows you to apply your experience in the sales, business development and technical support field to drive sales growth and support to our dealer network.Responsibilities:Develop growth and product penetration strategies and tactics to grow Precision Planting sales in specified region.Find and enlist new dealers to ensure market coverageTrain, develop, and support existing dealers to grow sales and service capabilityConsult dealer\'s businesses to grow Precision Planting\'s salesPlan, manage, and attend farm shows and other marketing functions to build product and brand awarenessUtilize data analysis tools to develop effective sales strategiesPlan, facilitate, and present at meetings and field days of 10 - 100 attendees throughout the year.Manage and develop approximately 10-20 dealer accountsDevelop strong relationships with key customer and dealer accountsIncrease dealer engagement in selling and service activities related to Precision PlantingEffectively communicate sales and marketing initiatives to dealersManage dealer training certificationsEstablish and execute inventory management and replenishment plans with dealers.Effectively manage distribution channel conflict to maximize sales while maintaining strong relationships with dealers and growersUnderstand and promote enterprise business strategies that support long term vision for the companyGain channel buy-in to product distribution strategiesAchieve alignment with dealers and corporate strategy to ensure sales and service successProvide product demonstration presentations, planter maintenance presentations, and other presentations as needed by the dealer teamProvide order support for specific region during selling seasonProvide technical (level 1) support during planting seasonAssist with sales support/help desk issues when in officeTravel to dealer locations, farm shows, and other events is required and varies by territoryTerritory is defined as provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, and portions of Saskatchewan.Travel can range from 25% to 75% based on territory and seasonMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor\'s degree, or equivalent experience, in Agriculture or Business studies or other degree with agriculture experience.3+ years of experience in sales/account management or 1+ years working in the agriculture industryAbility to communicate technical information to customersExcellent time management skillsExcellent communication skills, written and verbal (presentations to audiences of 60 is common)Highly motivatedComputer skills: Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, ExcelPreferred Qualifications:Experience in Agriculture or Precision Agriculture sales positions is strongly desiredWhat We Offer:Competitive Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental, Vision, & Mental Health)Life and AD&D InsurancePaid Parental LeaveFertility BenefitsPet Insurance401(k) with employer matchPaid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysEducation AssistanceAGCO is an equal opportunity employer.
