Job Description


Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales of Nokian Tyres in the replacement market for passenger cars and light trucks. Working in a dynamic and collaborative team environment, the Regional Sales Manager serves as a trusted business advisor and expert consultant on Nokian Tyres\xe2\x80\x99 products and services. He/She will operate in an assigned geographic territory, traveling to customer locations, growing existing accounts and developing new busines, mainly working from a home office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively execute the Nokian Tyres sales strategy; retaining and growing existing accounts as well as developing new business.
  • Build a strong and trusting relationship with our customers in territory during regular site visits and sales calls.
  • Continually develop and maintain sales activity with key regional dealers.
  • Engage customers through superior product and service offerings as well as demonstrated product expertise.
  • Within the assigned territory, manage the launch process for new products and services.
  • Participate in marketing and product knowledge events such as seminars and trade shows.
  • Utilizing CRM tools, market analysis and other intelligence; monitor territory sales progress and adapt approaches to optimize sales effectiveness.
  • Resolve operational and administrative issues, respond to internal and external inquiries, and prepare routine and special reports as required by management.
  • Uphold Nokian mission and values, and demonstrate supporting behaviors in day-to-day actions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • University degree from an accredited institution of higher learning.
  • 10+ years outside sales experience, preferably within the tire or automotive industry.
  • Demonstrated analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent listening, consultation, negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Proficient with MS-Office application suite and Salesforce / CRM applications.
  • Ability to travel 75% within the assigned region, by air or car.
  • Must possess a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license.
  • Must be authorized to travel to the U.S. for occasional sales meetings.
  • Prior Tire industry experience
  • Proven track record of building and maintain strong relationships.
  • Strong in Public Speaking.

  • Ex\xc3\xa9cuter efficacement la strat\xc3\xa9gie commerciale de Nokian Tyres ; conserver et d\xc3\xa9velopper les comptes existants ainsi que d\xc3\xa9velopper de nouvelles affaires.
  • Construire une relation solide et de confiance avec nos clients sur le territoire lors de visites r\xc3\xa9guli\xc3\xa8res sur site et d\'appels commerciaux.
  • D\xc3\xa9velopper et maintenir continuellement l\'activit\xc3\xa9 de vente avec les principaux concessionnaires r\xc3\xa9gionaux.
  • Engagez les clients gr\xc3\xa2ce \xc3\xa0 des offres de produits et de services de qualit\xc3\xa9 sup\xc3\xa9rieure ainsi qu\'\xc3\xa0 une expertise produit d\xc3\xa9montr\xc3\xa9e.
  • Sur le territoire assign\xc3\xa9, g\xc3\xa9rer le processus de lancement de nouveaux produits et services.
  • Participer \xc3\xa0 des \xc3\xa9v\xc3\xa9nements de marketing et de connaissance des produits tels que des s\xc3\xa9minaires et des salons professionnels.
  • Utiliser des outils CRM, des analyses de march\xc3\xa9 et d\'autres renseignements ; suivre les progr\xc3\xa8s des ventes sur le territoire et adapter les approches pour optimiser l\'efficacit\xc3\xa9 des ventes.
  • R\xc3\xa9soudre les probl\xc3\xa8mes op\xc3\xa9rationnels et administratifs, r\xc3\xa9pondre aux demandes de renseignements internes et externes et pr\xc3\xa9parer les rapports de routine et sp\xc3\xa9ciaux requis par la direction.
  • D\xc3\xa9fendre la mission et les valeurs de Nokian et d\xc3\xa9montrer des comportements de soutien dans les actions quotidiennes.

Exigences
  • Dipl\xc3\xb4me universitaire d\xe2\x80\x99un \xc3\xa9tablissement d\xe2\x80\x99enseignement sup\xc3\xa9rieur accr\xc3\xa9dit\xc3\xa9.
  • Plus de 10 ans d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience en vente externe, de pr\xc3\xa9f\xc3\xa9rence dans l\'industrie du pneu ou de l\'automobile.
  • Comp\xc3\xa9tences d\xc3\xa9montr\xc3\xa9es en mati\xc3\xa8re d\xe2\x80\x99analyse, de prise de d\xc3\xa9cision et de r\xc3\xa9solution de probl\xc3\xa8mes.
  • Fortes comp\xc3\xa9tences interpersonnelles et en communication; capable de travailler en collaboration au sein d\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipes interfonctionnelles.
