Regional Sales Manager - Foodservice (Ontario & Quebec)

We are seeking a, bi-lingual (French/English) Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow our foodservice business across Eastern Ontario and Quebec. This role is ideal for a proven sales professional with a strong understanding of the foodservice distribution network (Sysco, GFS, sub-distributors), multi-unit chains, independent "mom & pop" operators, and direct delivery B2B markets--someone who thrives on building relationships with customers of all sizes.



The successful candidate will combine strong strategic planning with hands-on execution to deliver profitable growth, manage key partnerships, and drive market share in both established and emerging segments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and expand business with distributors, sub-distributors, brokers, and direct delivery accounts (). Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline in CRM by identifying, qualifying, and developing new opportunities across all customer segments. Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve annual revenue and margin targets. Work with food service representatives to build pipeline Contribute in quarterly planning and 90-day reviews with clear objectives and action plans. Work with partners to ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and execution of sales plans. Service and grow multi-unit accounts, healthcare customers, and tier-two distribution. Conduct cold calls, account visits, tradeshows, and networking events to strengthen relationships and uncover growth opportunities. Ensure accurate reporting through CRM and provide weekly activity and performance updates. Resolve customer complaints, manage sample requests, and ensure execution of freezer deals and promotional programs. Collaborate with internal teams to support inventory planning, contract renewals, and account servicing.

Qualifications & Skills

Bi-lingual (English/French) with strong written and verbal communication skills. 5+ years of progressive sales experience, preferably in foodservice, distribution, or consumer packaged goods. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. We're looking for a true people person--someone who values relationships, builds trust easily, and understands that long-term success comes from putting the customer first. Proven ability to develop sales strategies and achieve revenue growth targets. Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to assess margin, pricing, and profitability. Proficiency with Telephone, CRM tools, AI, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows-based systems. Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable with strong problem-solving ability. Comfortable managing a travel-heavy territory with a Valid driver's license.

Working Conditions

Based in Ottawa, with travel across Ontario and Quebec (Peterborough-Quebec City). Monthly in-office meetings (3 per month). Combination of home office, client visits, and occasional work in plant/manufacturing environments. Some evening/weekend travel required for tradeshows and industry events.
