The Regional Sales Manager position will be responsible for helping set sales goals, and devising sales strategies to increase market share and reach sales targets within a designated region. Our ideal candidate has a solid background in sales management, with a strong understanding of customer relationship management and performance metrics. Ultimately, the role of the Regional Sales Manager is to develop and implement strategic plans to grow sales and increase profitability in the assigned region.
Responsibilities:
Work Monday through Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm (hours can vary depending on customer needs).
Frequent travel required throughout Ontario (10 to 15 days per month average) to adequately cover designated sales territory. Occasional travel throughout North America to attend various trade expositions, training events, dealer meetings, and other necessary events. Most travel is done during weekdays, but occasional weekend travel may be required.
Work indoors and outdoors, including inclement weather.
Sales of inspection, software, and rehabilitation products and services.
Helping set sales goals and developing sales strategies.
Expanding customer base and increasing sales volume.
Researching prospects and generating leads in open territories.
Work with regional distributors to promote products and serve our customer base
Properly update and maintain CRM on a timely basis.
Performing other tasks directly or indirectly associated with product and services sales.
Handling customer complaints and queries.
Developing and maintaining customer relationships.
Monitoring and analyzing market trends.
Studying competitors' products and services.
Reporting on regional sales results.
Presenting sales and realistic forecasts to the management team.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred.
Must have a current and valid passport and be able to travel across borders without restrictions.
Must be legally able to work within Canada
Must have a clean driving record, valid license, and ability to be insured. Must be able to drive box trucks, cargo vans, and other vehicles.
Operation and general knowledge of electronics, computers, and mechanical systems.
Must be reliable and punctual.
Must have a strong attention to detail.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Highly proficient in public speaking
Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
Familiarity with CRM software.
Ability to lead and motivate.
Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude.
Ability to lift at least 70 pounds.
Availability to travel as needed.
