Sales Associate - Animal Health and Reproduction Equipment - Dairy Industry
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Local Sales Associate in Ontario, Canada. As a self-driven and motivated individual with a passion for developing relationships with dairy producers and delivering profitable solutions, you will play an important role in our sales team in your region.
The successful candidate must possess a deep understanding of the dairy industry in Canada, specifically the needs of producers in the areas of animal health, welfare and reproduction. With a proven knowledge of Dairy Industry in Canada, the Sales Associate will be responsible for supporting sales activities in Ontario and beyond to meet sales targets, generating new business and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
Reporting to Sales Lead, your responsibilities include:
Process inbound calls and information requests.
Generate leads through outbound calls and face-to-face meetings
Build and maintain relationships with dairy producers, veterinarians, industry associations, to identify and develop new sales opportunities in your region
Provide product demonstrations and training to producers on the use and benefits of our solution
Ensure customer satisfaction and collect feedback on customer needs and preferences
Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities in your region
Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management
Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company and its products
Requirements:
MUST have 3+ years of experience in the dairy industry in Canada
Strong understanding of animal health, welfare or repro in the dairy industry
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Sales experience will be an asset
Bachelor's degree in animal science, agricultural business, or a related field will be an asset
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
Valid driver's license
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (HubSpot)
Traveling up to 30% (Hybrid working is preferred)

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
A proven record of sales in the dairy industry
Effective presentation skills
Background in veterinary or nutrition is a plus
