We are looking to hire a Regional Sales Enablement Center Manager for a great client in the HVAC / Heating and Cooling and Building Systems Automation products and services industry. This role is responsible for leading sales learning and practical programs for the sales force, including the internal team and external sales partners / channels. Based out of our client's Toronto/GTA office, the role requires frequent travel to the US and Canada, and some travel to Latin America.Responsibilities:- Support and coach sales and Application Engineer teams by actively building strategic relationships with industry groups and customers of scale by mutual customer visits and calls.
- Support project scope and proposal activity as required to ensure best-in-class solutions offerings.
- Join negotiation meetings and support practice and exercising of Value Articulation tools.
- Work with teams to develop proposals and respond to quotes using proper solution development techniques.
- Deliver the Design Expert curriculum, practicing, assessing and continuously improving DE knowledge both within the direct sales force and the external sales representatives.
- Actively ensure the sales force is following company Sales Process and continuously improve its application to increase the B2Q ratio up to min 35 %.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for learning materials related to commercial activities and Sales Process.
- Lead the coordination of internal and external training applications and selling practice around new product launches.
- Lead opportunities to develop application and product practices in external sales rep groups at trade and industry events.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to develop consistency in the branding of all sales training materials.
- Actively practice with the sales force to develop strategic sales techniques consistent with company brand.
- Coach the sales force on the development of customers of scale and Key Accounts.
- Onboard new sales representative agents and consulting engineers with product and service offerings.
- Continuously enhance product application knowledge and maintain lasting key partner relationships.Requirements:- University Degree or equivalent in Engineering.
- 15 + years of sales experience working with configured and engineered to order packaged system sales.
- Previous experience with the following industries/systems is highly desired : HVAC, ventilation, heating and cooling, and water treatment, or similar.
- Experience with building systems automation / optimization is a strong asset.
- Willingness to learn about the company's sales process and product and services offerings / applications.
- Proven experience teaching and coaching sales professionals.
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to navigate different organizational structures (centralized or matrixed).
- Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Self-directed and results-oriented with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
