Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Manager to oversee the operations and administration of our growing network of daycare centers in the Edmonton, Lacombe, Sylvan Lake, and Blackfalds areas. This is a hands-on leadership role critical to ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer service across all our locations.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, a supportive leader to our center Directors, and a dedicated professional committed to providing exceptional early childhood education and care.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership & Compliance:

Conduct regular visits to all locations in Edmonton, Lacombe, Sylvan Lake, and Blackfalds to monitor day-to-day operations.

Ensure all centers adhere strictly to provincial licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and internal policies.

Perform routine compliance audits and lead the preparation for government inspections.

Implement and maintain standardized operational procedures across the network.

Administrative & Registration Support:

Manage central administrative tasks, including supporting enrollment processes for all locations.

Serve as a primary point of contact for registration inquiries, answering calls and emails promptly and professionally.

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of occupancy levels and waitlists for each center.

Director & Staff Support:

Work closely with Center Directors as a mentor and resource, providing guidance on curriculum, staff management, and daily challenges.

Assist Directors in resolving complex or escalated parent complaints and concerns with tact and empathy.

Facilitate training and professional development opportunities for Directors and staff.

Stakeholder Communication & Authority Liaison:

Act as the main point of contact for provincial licensing officers and other regulatory authorities.

Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents, staff, and community partners.

Represent the company professionally in all interactions.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must hold Level 3 Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certification. A Diploma in Child Study or a related field is required.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in an early childhood education setting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or director-level role overseeing multiple locations or a large single center.

In-depth knowledge of Alberta's Child Care Licensing Act and Regulations.

Proven experience with compliance audits, licensing inspections, and health & safety protocols.

Exceptional administrative and organizational skills, with proficiency in standard office software.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations diplomatically.

Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, as travel between the listed cities is a core requirement of the job.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
