Regional Manager of Security Solutions KPrime Technologies is a vibrant and thriving company that is the foremost independent sales & service provider for chemical and security detection instruments in Western Canada with active sales and support throughout Canada. As a Regional Manager of Security Solutions, you will lead a regional team to provide a best in class customer service experience for both the day to day operations, and all aspects of the business while continually driving process improvements. You will be responsible for ensuring successful operations through monitoring against key metrics. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on process improvement, and the ability to lead and maintain the effectiveness of cross-functional teams, in addition to cross-cultural teams at various locations. While specific and complete in-class and hands-on training will be provided to support you in your role, the ideal candidate will possess a base knowledge of mechanical/electronics technical skills and take pride in putting out high quality workmanship. Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the region\xe2\x80\x99s security solutions teams
  • Providing support to teams servicing, installing, repairing and maintaining electrical/mechanical systems and equipment
  • Coaching junior level technicians through service, installation, repair, and maintenance
  • Supporting teams in ordering, receiving and returning parts as required
  • Completing documentation and reports in a timely and concise manner
  • Liaising with staff and partners in a professional manner
  • Interviewing candidates, providing employee reviews to current staff, supporting staff in their work.
  • Adhering to company health, safety, and environmental policies
Requirements:
  • Graduate of technical school, military training in electronics engineering technology, and/or related trade certification required
  • 5+ years of experience in a field service environment with direct experience in x-ray or screening technologies preferred
  • Screening technology experience and/or knowledge of complex mechanical systems and test equipment (DVM and oscilloscope) is highly desirable
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership/management role within a service organization and/or managing remote service operations is preferred
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Applications and Operating Systems) and an aptitude for learning specialized software programs
  • Motivated, self-starter with strong communication skills.
  • English fluency required. Bilingual with working proficiency or fluency in French is a plus.
  • Excellent customer interface and communication skills, both verbal and written are required
  • Must hold a valid driver\'s license and reliable access to motor vehicle transportation
  • Must hold a valid passport for training in the United States
  • Must pass Government of Canada security background checks for high level security clearance
  • Must be permanent resident of Canada
  • Ability to travel to work sites within the region and to support work on special projects from time to time. The majority of travel will be around city centers.
Physical Requirements:
  • Possess strong hands-on abilities, manual dexterity, physical strength, and stamina
  • Capability to sit, stand for prolonged periods, walk, climb, reach, bend and maneuver around equipment and work areas is required
  • Some lifting of weight up to 50 lbs / 23 kgs
Salary Offering:
  • An entrance salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 per year with increase in line with advancement of responsibilities
