***Note: This role is based in Montreal and is responsible for supporting the retail stores in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec and Ontario (7 stores in total).

Leadership: Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results. Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and developing store managers and Staffers

Strategic Planning: Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth. Experience analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and developing strategies to capitalize on them.

Sales Management: Demonstrated track record of driving sales performance and exceeding targets. Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement initiatives to maximize sales and profitability.

Operational Excellence: Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and store operations. Experience implementing processes and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to anticipate customer needs, resolve issues promptly, and create a positive shopping experience for customers.

Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial metrics and KPIs. Ability to analyze financial reports, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions to achieve business objectives.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, store teams, and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 7-10 years management experience in a retail fashion, soft goods or hard goods, or service chain environment.
  • Track record of driving sales and profitability in multi-store environment
  • Bilingual (English and French).
  • Solid understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and financial metrics
  • Results-oriented and customer-focused.
  • Demonstrated skills in employee relations, planning, project management, budgeting, negotiating and process improvement in a retail setting.
  • Exceptional leadership and employee motivation abilities.
  • Dynamic and collaborative with the ability to engage and influence at different levels within the organization.
  • Solid relationship-building skills to establish internal and external networks.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
  • Savviness with Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Proven ability to interact, communicate effectively and collaborate with Executive leadership and all levels of staff
  • Must be able to address multiple issues in a high paced and rapidly changing environment. Time management skills are critical.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
