Position Details
What You Will Do
Providing knowledgeable, effective and efficient customer service to clients in person or on the phone, offering insurance advice, processing policy changes and entering changes directly into the insurance computer system
Follow procedures and underwriting guidelines as part of the sales process
You will achieve sales goals by working within department standards for quality.
In conjunction with Supervisors, participate and provide input into team meetings, standards, procedures and special projects.
Who You Are
Post-secondary education completed, required
Considerable experience in retail and customer service
Post-secondary education in a related field, and/or working towards CIP designation is an asset
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A highly motivated individual, committed to continuous improvement and exceeding client expectations
You use your critical thinking skills to identify needs and propose solutions to the customers
You are a team player who shares knowledge and insights with peers
You are positive, customer focused and resourceful
Insurance experience is considered an asset
General Insurance licensed an asset (if you are not licensed, you must be willing to obtain your general insurance license, provided by CAA)
Hours of Work are: Monday to Friday \xe2\x80\x93 9:00am to 5:00pm
