Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and high-quality food preparation. Create and develop new menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas. Monitor food presentation and portion control to uphold restaurant standards.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the resort food industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu development. Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food. Previous restaurant management or kitchen experience is highly desirable. Excellent leadership skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional dining experiences for guests.
