As our growth creates new career opportunities, likely there is the right one for you!Job Summary:The Regional Aggregates Manager is responsible for the overall business performance of the aggregates vertical within the designated region. This role involves managing sales, customer relationships, and financial performance, while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.Role Purpose:The purpose of this role is to ensure the consistent operation of the facilities at the lowest possible cost in a safe and efficient manner. The Regional Manager will also lead and supervise the employees based at the various pits and quarries, ensuring produced material meets the necessary specifications and production quantities and qualities are met for internal as well as external customers.Key Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Develop and implement effective business strategies for the aggregates vertical that align with the company\'s overall objectives.\xc2\xb7 Oversee sales and distribution of aggregate materials across BC South.\xc2\xb7 Manage P&L for the region, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.\xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including environmental permits and safety protocols.\xc2\xb7 Report directly to the General Manager (GM), providing regular updates and strategic insights on business.\xc2\xb7 Drive sales initiatives to acquire new customers and maintain relationships with existing customers.\xc2\xb7 Manage Dispatch operations to ensure efficient execution of orders.\xc2\xb7 Responsible for business growth and achieving target objectives.\xc2\xb7 Conduct monthly billing and tracking to monitor financial health.\xc2\xb7 Manage Trucking and Scaling operations to optimize logistics and material handling.\xc2\xb7 Responsible for the overall business performance in the area.\xc2\xb7 Ensure that Dispatch reports to this position, streamlining communication and order fulfillment.Qualifications:\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Geology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 10 years of experience in the mining or aggregates industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.\xc2\xb7 Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.\xc2\xb7 Strong leadership and people management skills.\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.\xc2\xb7 Proficient in Microsoft Office and other mining software.\xc2\xb7 Willingness to travel within the region and to corporate headquarters as neededTransferable Skills:\xc2\xb7 Communication Skills\xc2\xb7 Analytical Skills\xc2\xb7 Interpersonal skills\xc2\xb7 Conflict Resolution Skills\xc2\xb7 Organisational skills\xc2\xb7 Financial SkillsAbilities:\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate professionalism\xc2\xb7 Results orientated\xc2\xb7 Have a sense of urgency to meet deadlines\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate initiative\xc2\xb7 Multi-task and set priorities effectively\xc2\xb7 High energy, a strong work ethic, resilience, and versatility\xc2\xb7 Accomplish goals in a team environment\xc2\xb7 Attention to detail\xc2\xb7 Strive for excellence\xc2\xb7 Possess a positive \xe2\x80\x9ccan do\xe2\x80\x9d attitude\xc2\xb7 Flexible and adaptive to changeWorking Conditions:\xc2\xb7 Ability to travel to various business units and corporate offices as required.\xc2\xb7 Overtime as required.\xc2\xb7 Use of Personal Protection Equipment if required.\xc2\xb7 Must comply with the company\'s drug and alcohol testing requirements.\xc2\xb7 Manual dexterity required to use computer and peripherals.DisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
