Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled

3rd or 4th Year HVAC/Refrigeration Apprentice

to join our growing team in

Kelowna, BC

. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with refrigeration and HVAC systems, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to continue learning in the field. This is an

exciting opportunity to join the cannabis industry

and apply your trade skills in a regulated, high-performance environment. You'll work alongside experienced journeypersons supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of specialized refrigeration systems for our cultivation and processing operations.

Duties

Assist in installing and maintaining refrigeration systems (commercial and residential) Support troubleshooting and repairs of refrigeration and HVAC equipment Read and interpret schematics to help diagnose system issues Perform routine maintenance checks under supervision Help build and plumb new refrigeration lines for upgrades and installs Support welding and mechanical work when required Work collaboratively with technicians and journeypersons to complete jobs Maintain organized service records and assist with inventory tracking

Skills & Requirements

Currently registered as a

3rd or 4th year HVAC/Refrigeration apprentice

Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of refrigeration concepts Experience with appliance repair and HVAC system servicing Comfortable reading schematics and following technical instructions Basic welding knowledge is an asset Good communication and teamwork skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 80 per week
