Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Reflexologist to join our wellness team in Barrie. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic foot reflexology treatments aimed at promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective therapy tailored to each patient's needs. The Reflexologist will work closely with clients to assess their conditions and develop personalized treatment plans in a professional spa or medical setting.

Duties

Perform detailed patient assessments to identify areas of tension, pain, or dysfunction. Administer reflexology treatments focusing on specific zones to promote healing and relaxation. Educate clients on self-care practices and lifestyle adjustments that support ongoing health benefits. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient progress, and treatment plans. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to occupational health standards. Collaborate with other healthcare or med spa professionals when neccesary to optimize patient outcomes. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities related to reflexology and holistic health.

Requirements

Proven experience in patient service, customer service, or related healthcare fields. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to reflexology and holistic therapies. Experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques preferred. Strong understanding of occupational health standards and safety protocols in wellness settings. Prior med spa experience is highly desirable. Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to develop personalized treatment plans. Compassionate demeanor with strong communication skills to effectively educate and support clients. Certification or licensure in reflexology or related holistic therapies is preferred but not mandatory depending on local regulations. Pay

70/30 spilt rent option also available
