Job Description

As a General Maintenance student, you will be part of our General Services team onsite at Canada's largest oil refinery, in East Saint John. You will work as part of a close-knit team of employees and fellow students, primarily outdoors, to accomplish various tasks important to the refinery's upkeep.
Responsibilities:Focused on exterior maintenance of refinery facilities Lawn maintenance, mowing and trimming Planting flowers, mulching, pruning, weeding Exterior painting of buildings, facilities and fixtures onsite Trained and assist with traffic flagging duties Sweeping, cleaning, painting curbs Cleaning vehicles, offices, compounds Litter control and pick up Assist with any Brand events

Your Skills:Safety as-a-way-of-life mindset; follow all safety protocols and procedures Ability to make decisions; manage multiple priorities Ability to work in a team and independently Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail Ability to bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crawl etc., and able to lift up to 20lbs Ability to wear full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required by safety standards Valid Canadian driver's license

Your Experience:Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program Must have completed at least one year of post-secondary education and be returning to school
