Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Responsibilities:

Oversee the construction of a new refinery, ensuring it meets all design, safety, and environmental standards.

Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of the project.

Implement and manage site safety protocols, ensuring compliance with Canadian regulations and company policies.

Monitor project progress, providing regular reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Address and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the application of best practices in chemical engineering and refinery construction.

Manage budget and resource allocation effectively.

Lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor\'s degree in chemical engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A master\'s degree would be an asset.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in refinery construction or a similar industrial setting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

Demonstrated experience in project management and construction oversight.

Strong knowledge of Canadian safety and environmental regulations in the refinery sector.

Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Nice to Have:

PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.

Experience in managing large-scale or complex construction projects.

Familiarity with Canadian building codes and construction regulations.

Experience managing projects within Saskatchewan or Alberta.
