Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team in Nova Scotia. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our fleet and ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services. Your expertise will directly contribute to our commitment to excellence in service delivery.

Responsibilities

Perform regular maintenance and repairs on transportation equipment and vehicles. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions. Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper repairs and installations. Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to optimize equipment performance. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Assist in the installation of HVAC systems as needed. Support other technical tasks as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Technician or similar role in the transportation industry.
Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with schematics and technical manuals. Experience with maintenance practices and procedures. Basic knowledge of plumbing, welding, HVAC, and appliance repair is an asset. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
