We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual for the position of Journeyman Carpenter. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction and maintenance person tasks, demonstrating proficiency in both technical and practical skills. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution. Perform concrete forming, masonry, and rebar installation for various construction projects. Execute cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and siding work with precision. Conduct restoration tasks including construction painting and caulking to enhance the aesthetic appeal of structures. Utilize hand tools, power tools safely and effectively in daily operations. Engage in carpentry and woodworking projects, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship are met. Assist with plumbing and electrical tasks as needed to support overall project completion. Participate in construction estimating processes to provide accurate assessments of project costs. Handle heavy lifting as required during the execution of various tasks on-site.

Experience

Candidates should have a good background in construction or related fields with experience in the following areas:

Blueprint reading and schematics interpretation Concrete forming, masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, cabinet installation, roofing, and siding Proficiency with hand tools, power tools Strong maintenance person experience encompassing a variety of trades including plumbing and electrical work Familiarity with restoration projects that require attention to detail

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
