As a Maintenance Millwright on our team, your primary responsibilities will include examination, troubleshooting, replacement/repair of a wide variety of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components. In addition, you will provide technical support to our production team during runtime hours to ensure optimal functionality of all production equipment within the facility. Utilizing our internal asset management system, your daily downtime routine will include preventative, corrective and facility maintenance. Additional tasks/duties maybe required to meet operational demands.

Job Responsibilities:
Read equipment manuals and blueprints to successfully complete installations,
troubleshooting and repairs
Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and
pneumatic systems
Inspect and examine equipment to identify irregularities and malfunctions
Adjust equipment and repair/replace defective components
Operate tools such as lathes and milling machines to fabricate parts required during
overhaul, maintenance or set-up of equipment
Assemble equipment prior to installation using hand/power tools and welding
equipment
Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize equipment safety,
efficiency and reliability
Complete Work Orders according to PM and CM schedules
Comply with all applicable legislative and Bakery food safety, health and safety and
environmental policies and procedures
Ensure that work area is clean of debris and hazards at all times
Work in a safe manner in accordance with provincial and internal LOTO policy
Perform other related duties as assigned or required
The Ideal Candidate:
Ticketed in the Millwright Trade
Minimum 3 years' experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment (Food
manufacturing is highly preferred)
High aptitude with Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems (Required)
Proven track record working with Lathes, Milling Machines and Welding Equipment
(ARC, TIG, MIG)
Above average problem-solving skills
Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
Thrives in a team environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Excel, Outlook)
Focuses on continuous self-improvement

Standard Rotation:
4-week cycle
4 weeks on afternoon shift, followed by 4 weeks on night shift (this rotation pattern continues)

Either
Saturday or Sunday will be scheduled off each week
