Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with expertise in various construction techniques and materials. This role involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial builds, renovations, and restorations. The Journeyperson Carpenter will be responsible for executing carpentry tasks with precision and adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair structures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Perform concrete forming for foundations and other structures. Restore existing structures to their original condition or improve them as needed. Build frameworks for buildings, including door frames, window frames, and partitions. Work with masonry materials to create durable structures. Install roofing materials. Install siding and other exterior finishes to enhance building aesthetics and protection. Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate project execution. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in concrete forming techniques is preferred. Experience in masonry work is a plus. Strong skills in using power tools and hand tools safely. Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Valid driver's license and vehicle is required based on job site locations.
