Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various carpentry tasks and be capable of working independently or as part of a team. This role involves executing high-quality craftsmanship in residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities

Execute roof installations, including framing and sheathing. Utilize hand tools effectively for various carpentry tasks. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications. Engage in concrete forming for foundations and other structures. Conduct construction painting to finish projects with a professional appearance. Lay tiles accurately for flooring and wall applications. Install siding to enhance the aesthetic and functional quality of buildings. Provide maintenance person services as needed, addressing minor repairs and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Journeyperson Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry. Strong skills in residential and commercial framing, roofing, concrete forming, tile laying, siding installation, and general maintenance person tasks. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry work. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements. Strong leadership qualities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
