Job Description

We are currently hiring a skilled and safety-focused Journeyman Electrician / Instrumentation Technician to support our growing operations. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong field experience in industrial electrical systems and instrumentation/control integration.

We welcome applicants who hold a dual Red Seal (Electrician + Instrumentation Technician) or those with a minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience working with instrumentation and control systems in an industrial or processing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and control systems, including panels, motors, drives, and field instrumentation Calibrate and commission transmitters, sensors, level/pressure/temperature devices, and PLC I/O Read and interpret electrical schematics, loop drawings, and P&IDs Execute terminations, conduit runs, and tray work in accordance with electrical code Support startup and commissioning of process systems Complete routine inspections, maintenance, and control logic verification Ensure safety and compliance with all applicable standards and regulations (CEC, CSA, OH&S)

Qualifications

Red Seal Journeyman Electrician

certification (required)

Instrumentation Technician ticket

(preferred) or

Minimum 3 years experience

in industrial instrumentation and controls Solid understanding of PLCs, sensors, analog/digital signal wiring, and field devices Ability to work from technical drawings and documentation Strong safety track record and understanding of field best practices Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Pay: $43.00-$50.00 per hour
