About the Role

Tidal Electrical Inc. is seeking a dedicated

Red Seal Electrician

to join our team for ongoing and upcoming projects at

Vancouver International Airport (YVR)

. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a rapidly changing, high-standard environments and takes pride in quality workmanship.

As a Red Seal Electrician, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading electrical systems on various commercial and infrastructure projects within the airport. You'll work alongside a tight-knit, experienced crew committed to safety, professionalism, and delivering on tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Perform installations, upgrades, and maintenance on electrical systems, including low-voltage distribution, fire alarm, lighting, and lighting controls. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Collaborate with site supervisors, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols and security regulations. (Criminal record check required). Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently. Complete documentation and reports as required for inspections and compliance.

Qualifications

Valid

Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician Certification.

Minimum 3-5 years of commercial or institutional electrical experience (airport or similar facility experience is a strong asset). Ability to obtain and maintain

YVR RAIC security clearance.

Strong understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code. Experience with conduit work, fire alarm, cable tray systems, and low-voltage systems. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Commitment to safety and attention to detail.

Pay: $49.90-$55.89 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
