Desert Cardlock Fuel Services Ltd. is currently seeking a red seal Commercial Transport Technician for a lead hand position in the maintenance and repair of our private fleet of Kenworth and Peterbilt logging and fuel trucks and trailers.

Duties will include all aspects of class 8 truck and trailer maintenance and repairs up to and including component rebuild along with some supervisory duties. We offer a comfortable, relaxed work atmosphere in a well-equipped shop. There are several possible shift options including a 3 day 12-hour or 4 day 10-hour shift. The Company offers an excellent compensation packing including competitive wages and an extended benefits package that includes a RRSP matching program.

Job Requirements

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in commercial trucks including engines, aftertreatment systems, transmissions, braking, air and electronic systems using advanced diagnostic tools Perform repairs and preventative maintenance tasks to maximize the safety and uptime of the fleet Perform CVIP Truck and trailer inspections Class 5 driver's license required (Class 1 or 3 with air endorsement would be an asset) Lead and supervise employees Prior experience with fuel and/or logging trucks and trailers would be an asset

Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
