About the Role




The

Recruitment Coordinator

ensures a positive experience for the candidate throughout the recruitment process, from application to onboarding. They will be responsible for the seasonal hiring & onboarding process across assigned regions and Pedalheads programs, primarily focused on the hiring and onboarding for our Bike Camp positions.


This role will develop strong candidate pipelines, producing strategic and innovative ideas to help attract and retain quality hires.

Key Responsibilities



Sourcing Candidates:

Plan and implement sourcing strategies, such as an employer branding initiative, to build strong pipelines of quality applicants. To post job postings through online channels, such as LinkedIn, career websites, University job boards, and other professional networks. Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline.

Screening Applicants:

Assessing resumes, video responses, interview notes and other application material to ensure the candidates meet the job requirements.

Conducting Interviews:

Arranging and conducting online interviews, group interviews and or 1:1 interviews.

Onboarding:

Ensure all hires are properly set up and fully onboarded on ADP Workforce Now prior to training. Prepares and manages all onboarding documents, staff lists, and training communications. Ensures that background checks/reference checks are completed and cleared.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the Manager of Recruitment and the hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Collaborate with the Scheduling team and Operations team to ensure there is enough staff hired and available throughout the season. Partners with the Training department to ensure hires attend all mandatory training. Collaborates with the Payroll department, Training department and scheduling team to ensure new hires are set up properly to be paid. Works with Operations to visit camps throughout the season to help build strong relationships, increase retention and help grow registrations.

Co-op/Internships:

Works with local universities/colleges to build a co-op/internship program for seasonal roles. Networks and maintain relationships with college/university/high school counselors for hiring events, co-op/internship programs.

Qualifications



Minimum of 1 to 2 years of work experience in high volume hiring, recruiting and onboarding is an asset Experience hiring youths 16 - 24 is an asset Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or relevant fields is an asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and professional websites like LinkedIn, Facebook, Indeed Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, particularly ADP Workforce Now is an asset Strong interpersonal skills Good written and verbal communications skills Highly organized with demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete projects within tight deadlines Must be competent with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)

You keep our candidate pipeline full and thriving through creative sourcing and proactive outreach resulting in every camp having great people ready to hire. You deliver a smooth, positive candidate experience from first contact to onboarding, with clear communication and timely follow-through. You collaborate seamlessly with Operations, Training, and Payroll teams to ensure every hire is set up correctly and ready for their first day. You stay organized and ahead of deadlines, juggling multiple regions and hiring needs without letting details slip through the cracks. You bring energy and innovation to each season sharing new ideas that make our hiring and onboarding process more efficient and engaging.

Applicants for this role will be asked to complete an online application via ADP. Selected candidates will be invited to a pre-screen interview and may be asked to complete a psychometric assessment. Final-stage candidates will participate in an interview and will be required to complete a criminal background check and provide professional references.
