Who You Are




We're looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to support and strengthen our hiring efforts across Canada, with a primary focus on our hospitality and entertainment venues.


This is a great opportunity for someone early in their recruitment or Human Resources career who's ready to take on more responsibility, build strong foundations in talent acquisition, and grow within a creative, fast-paced organization.


You're organized, people-focused, and excited about delivering a positive candidate experience while learning how recruitment works at scale in a multi-location business.



The Role


First 6 Months - Learn & Support

Support interview and hiring activities for hourly and entry-level salaried roles across multiple venues Coordinate job postings, interview scheduling, reference checks, and offer documentation Maintain candidate records and workflows in Asana and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Assist with interview guides, scorecards, and onboarding checklists Support hiring managers with timely communication and a consistent candidate experience Learn MRG's recruitment processes, timelines, and hiring standards Support MRG's recruitment initiatives, including career fairs, hiring events, and internship programs


Ongoing - Grow & Contribute

Coordinate high-volume hiring, particularly for hospitality venue-based roles Partner with HR and MRG U to support special programs, including internship programs Support proactive hiring efforts by screening and reaching out to potential candidates Support sourcing efforts and talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles Conduct phone and virtual candidate screens (training and support provided) Track and report recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire and candidate flow Take on increased responsibility and ownership as experience and confidence grow Partner with the HR and Recruitment on identifying and executing initiatives towards continuous improvement

What We're Looking For



1-3 years of experience in recruitment, HR, coordination, or people operations Experience supporting hourly, high-volume, or customer-facing roles is an asset Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple roles and priorities Clear, confident communication skills with candidates and internal stakeholders Interest in building a longer-term career in recruitment or human resources Comfort working in a fast-paced, people-first environment


Bonus if you:

Have experience in hospitality, entertainment, retail, or multi-location environments Have used an ATS or HR system (training will be provided) Are curious about talent development, HR programs, or people analytics Enjoy improving processes and bringing structure to busy, dynamic teams
