Recruitment Admissions and Administrative Coordinator, School of Rehabilitation Science
Primary Purpose: This position will assist with the day-to-day operations of admissions while advancing strategic efforts to enhance accessibility and diversity within the School of Rehabilitation Science (SRS). A key priority is the recruitment and support of Indigenous students, in alignment with the University of Saskatchewan's commitment to transformative decolonization leading to reconciliation, equity, diversity, and inclusion as outlined in the University Plan 2025. Working collaboratively with the College of Medicine (CoM), and the central USask recruitment team, and other key partners, this role will promote SRS programs to prospective learners and strengthen pathways for underrepresented groups. These activities will require meaningful engagement with stakeholders to remove barriers and foster a welcoming environment for students. Through these efforts, the role contributes to the broader goal of increasing student diversity and supporting equitable access to rehabilitation science education.
Nature of Work: Reporting to the SRS Manager, Academic Programs and Operations, and working closely with the Communications and Strategic Initiatives Coordinator this position functions independently and efficiently in a high-volume, multi-tasking environment. The position is part of the Admissions Team and Recruitment Committee and involves interactions with applicants, SRS faculty, staff, and students, as well as internal and external stakeholder groups. May be eligible for hybrid work under the terms of USask's Alternative Workspace Guidelines at the discretion of the employer. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
