About Express Lumpers



Express Lumpers is a leading workforce solutions company specializing in the logistics and warehousing industry. We provide skilled, reliable personnel, commonly known as "lumpers" (freight handlers/unloaders), to ensure efficient and timely operations for our clients across the supply chain. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter to drive our talent acquisition efforts.

The Role



As a Recruiter for Express Lumpers, you will be crucial in identifying, screening, and hiring the quality candidates needed to meet our client demands. You will manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from proactive sourcing to onboarding document management.

Key Responsibilities



Talent Sourcing & Strategy



Proactive Sourcing:

Execute creative and effective sourcing strategies to build a robust pipeline of candidates, specifically targeting individuals with experience in logistics, warehousing, and freight handling.

Platform Management:

Utilize a variety of platforms for sourcing, including

Indeed

, professional networking sites, social media, and industry-specific job boards.

Job Posting:

Create compelling and accurate job postings to attract the right talent.

Screening & Interviewing



Candidate Screening:

Review applications and resumes, conducting initial phone screens to assess basic qualifications, work history, reliability, and fit for the fast-paced nature of logistics roles.

System Management:

Maintain and manage candidate records, track progress, and ensure data integrity within our Applicant Tracking System,

In-Person Interviews:

Conduct thorough, structured, in-person interviews to evaluate technical skills, behavioral traits, and cultural alignment.

Onboarding & Administration



Offer & Documentation:

Manage the post-offer process, ensuring all necessary employment and onboarding documents are received and completed accurately and promptly.

Compliance:

Ensure the recruitment and documentation process complies with all local, state, and federal employment regulations.

Reporting:

Track key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, source-of-hire) to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Required Qualifications



Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-volume recruiting, preferably within the logistics, warehousing, industrial, or temporary staffing sectors.

ATS Proficiency:

Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS); familiarity with

CVVIZ

is a plus.

Sourcing Skills:

Proven ability to source candidates using platforms like

Indeed

and various social media channels.

Communication:

Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Organization:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially for managing compliance and document collection.

Interviewing:

Experience conducting effective behavioral and structured interviews.
