Avenge Energy Services Inc. is looking for a Recruiter with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and who enjoys working with people to find the right fit and talent for our roles within the organization. You will report to the Human Resources Manager. Primary recruitment positions will be field related, Class 1/3 Operators for Tank Truck Fluid Hauling, Vac Trucks and Swampers as well ability to source high number of workers for project start ups. This position is specific to finding great new employees to support company growth. Once hired, the operations group and managers support onboarding, development and retention practice.

Key Responsibilities:
Consult with human resources and hiring managers to identify job specifications, duties, qualifications, and skills required for the position.
Post and maintain approved job advertisements on job boards.
Look for creative ways to attract candidates for high volume recruits and/or hard to hire positions and build a talent pool of candidates for these positions.
Efficiently and effectively fill open positions within established timelines.
Perform review of applicants, conduct phone/video screens, and identify potential candidates for manager interview.
Conduct reference checks and other assessments as required.
Provide feedback to candidates on their applications throughout the recruitment process
Co-ordinate hiring information with Human Resources for offer letters and on boarding.
Schedule pre-employment testing and ensure clearance is received prior to the start date.
Booking flights for out of town workers
Co-ordinate with safety department, branch administrators and hiring manager to organize safety training as required for the position.
Prepare necessary paperwork and coordinate with the new hire to ensure completeness and accuracy of the documentation, verify technical safety tickets.
Travel to branches throughout northern Alberta and job fairs may be required.
Willing to work occasional overtime (evenings/weekends) to meet deadlines when necessary.
Assist with other human resource duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Post- secondary education in human resources certification, combined with 2-4 years of progressive recruiting experience in a high-volume environment, preferably in the oil & gas industry.
Experience with use of tracking systems as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and in writing.
Comfortable working independently, highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments and effectively meet deadlines and business goals.
Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
