Recruiter

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for supporting various HR processes and ensuring smooth operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Full Cycle Recruitment:



Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the offer details to complete the process. Ensure all recruitment activities align with company needs and objectives.

Sourcing & Headhunting:


Actively headhunt and source potential candidates using a variety of channels such as indeed, social media platforms, and industry-specific sources to attract top talent.

Job Postings:



Ensure all job postings are kept up to date and that resumes are reviewed daily. Provide timely follow-up to candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Applicant tracking system:



Maintain an up-to-date database of qualified candidates for future opportunities. Ensure that all candidates are accurately added to the Applicant Tracking System.

New Hire Onboarding & Bistrainer Setup:


Set up new employee profiles in Bistrainer, ensuring all necessary information is accurately entered and accessible. Coordinate onboarding procedures, such as orientation schedules, system access, and compliance training. Add all new hires to the Intranet (SharePoint). Conduct onboarding orientation with new hires.

Job Fair Attendance & Networking:


Represent the company at job fairs and other networking events to promote the organization and attract potential candidates. Build relationships with educational institutions and professional organizations to create a strong recruitment pipeline.

HR Systems Management (SharePoint):


Utilize SharePoint to store, update, and share HR documents and information. Accurately maintain and update records related to open positions, new hires, and other HR data in SharePoint to ensure all stakeholders have access to current information.

Welcome Kit Preparation:


Prepare comprehensive welcome kits for new hires, including essential information, company materials, and branded merchandise. Ensure that new employees feel valued and informed from day one. Keep the swag inventory updated and accurate. Periodically run inventory reports.

Collaboration & HR Support:


Ensure that all employees adhere to company policies in a supportive and respectful manner. Schedule regular meetings with Managers to touch base about current candidates, open positions and any other Recruitment needs.

Compliance & Reporting:


Ensure that all recruitment and HR practices are compliant with legal regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities and provide reports as needed.

Other duties as required.



REQUIREMENTS:



Proven experience in recruitment. Experience in the mining industry is a MUST. Strong understanding of the full recruitment cycle and onboarding processes Proficiency in SharePoint management as an asset Ability to accurately update and maintain HR records, including open positions and new hires, in SharePoint Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment High time management skills to meet deadlines High attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent Customer Services Skills. Familiarity with employment laws and regulations Exceptional computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently, and as a team player

Must be located in or willing to relocate to Sudbury, Ontario.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
