Description:

We are looking for a Recruiter who is enthusiastic about the recruiting process and loves to think outside of the box. As a main point of contact for candidates, you will work to:

  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, talent pipelines
  • Screen candidate resumes and applications
  • Providing support in and conduct interviews when required
  • Asses applicants\' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and overall fit within the company culture
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking system to provide an excellent candidate experience
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to provide support throughout the recruitment process
  • Act as a point of contact during the recruitment process and answer any questions from applicants
  • Organize and hold a monthly onboarding training session for new employees in relation to communication, values, and HR items
  • Work to establish recruiting network including promoting the Sinclair brand from an internal perspective to various secondary institutions
  • Follow-up with HR team weekly to check status of all interviewed candidates and that regret letters have been sent if applicable
  • Conduct 30 day and 75 day check-ins with employee and hiring manager
  • Research and provide support on government grant applications
  • Produce and submit reports on recruitment and general HR activity
  • Assist the HR Business Partner with any projects or tasks
  • Utilize Microsoft office programs and internal company software
  • Other HR & Administrative functions as required

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 5 years experience with recruitment
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to commute to North Edmonton branch

Job Type
  • Full-Time (40 hours a week)
  • Monday to Friday
  • On site at the North Edmonton Location
  • Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner
