The Role:



We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruiter with who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment to join our team. The successful candidate will be dedicated to sourcing and securing the best driving talent across Western Canada while providing key support for corporate and operational staff recruitment. This role is based at our office in Calgary, AB

Key Responsibilities:



Full-Cycle Recruitment:

Manage the entire recruitment process for high-volume driver roles (e.g., Class 1, Class 3, Owner-Operators, Company Drivers) across in Western Canada.

Corporate Recruitment Support:

Assist in the recruitment office staff roles, including Dispatchers, Operations Support, Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) professionals, and Administrative staff as required.

Sourcing and Strategy:

Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies tailored to the driver market, utilizing job boards, social media, industry events, and referrals.

Candidate Screening:

Conduct high-volume screening, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications, driving recordswhile evaluating alignment with company core values and safety standards.

Driver Onboarding:

Coordinate and manage the pre-employment and initial onboarding process for new drivers, ensuring all necessary documentation (e.g., driver abstracts, safety qualifications, orientation scheduling) is completed efficiently and accurately before their start date.

ATS Management:

Maintain meticulous and up-to-date records within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring compliance and generating recruitment reports.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Partner closely with Managers to understand staffing needs, timelines, and specific requirements for each role/location.

Candidate Experience:

Ensure a positive and professional experience for all applicants, from initial contact through to offer and onboarding handoff.

Qualifications:



Relevant Post-Secondary Education (Diploma or Degree) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field combined with a minimum 3 years of experience in a dedicated recruitment role. Demonstrated experience recruiting high-volume field positions. Experience within the Transportation/Logistics industry is preferred. Aptitude for assessing cultural fit and evaluating candidates' behaviours against established company core values during the interview process. Proven proficiency in utilizing and managing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for sourcing, tracking and reporting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence candidates and hiring managers. Understanding of the Western Canadian transportation market, including provincial regulations and competitive landscapes is considered an asset. Prior experience with generalist Human Resources functions (e.g., employee relations, onboarding, performance management, basic HR policy) is preferred.
