Our people are the core of our success. The Calgary office requires a motivated and self-driven Recruiter to contribute to our rapidly increasing workforce plans and organizational growth.

This individual will play a key role in developing and delivering Best Practices in talent management, as well as providing full cycle recruitment (national and international), assisting in workforce planning, and will impact business results by hiring the best talent the industry has to offer while striving for a high acceptance rate of quality candidates.

The Recruiter is responsible for providing strategic and operational talent acquisition support to Regional Managers, Branch Sales Managers, Parts Sales Managers, Service Sales Managers, and more within a defined region. This role will require up to 20% travel as needed to branches, for grassroots campus efforts, and for international recruitment drives.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:



Take ownership of the full cycle recruiting process which encompasses job postings, sourcing strategies, following the internal recruitment process, screening, interviewing, and hiring individuals within Rocky Mountain Equipment's HR guidelines, standards, and policies Collaborate with hiring managers to gather data for workforce planning, and complete position requirements for current recruitment needs Complete candidate submission packages for internal approvals and initiate the new hire process Participate in career Fairs, job Fairs, as well as international recruitment initiatives Co-manage grassroots recruiting efforts including fostering relationships with colleges and universities for apprenticeships, summer placements, and new grads Lead the RME Temporary Foreign Worker Program including participating in international recruitment drives, and liaising with foreign recruitment agencies, immigration lawyers, and foreign candidates Understand and gain knowledge of the dealership business model, agriculture, heavy equipment, and related industries Build relationships, rapport, and interact closely with RME branches and key contacts within assigned business groups

Job Requirements and Qualifications Include:



University degree in a related field (Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Management, etc.) and / or relevant work experience Experience and understanding of working within a branch model, geographically-dispersed organization, and in-the-field recruitment Working knowledge of ADP WorkForceNow ATS system would be an asset Strong understanding of full cycle recruitment best practices Strong understanding of workforce planning, organizational mapping and candidate pipelining Experience in innovative and strategic sourcing methodologies, including social media platforms General knowledge of human resource processes & Provincial Employment Standards Familiar with third party search agencies and job boards Background in writing job descriptions, job stream design, and compensation programs a strong asset Knowledge of Temporary Foreign Worker application processes & Labor Market Impact Assessment submissions Familiar with relocation programs Campus recruitment experience Proficient computer and typing skills including MS Office 20% travel required
