Reena is actively looking for

Contract, Part-Time Recreational Support Workers (

RSWs) to work within its Community Outreach programs. As an RSW, you would provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities.

This is a great opportunity for University/College students looking for Part-Time employment. There is potential for extensions and growth within the agency.

Role Type:

Temporary Contract - Part-Time

Term:

January 4, 2026, to March 2, 2026

Schedule:

Sunday: 11:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday: 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM Tuesday: 4:30 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday: 5:00 PM - 8:30 PM Thursday: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
(Hours may vary depending on evening program needs.)

Qualifications

Requirements

Minimum age requirement: 18 years and older. Possession of a valid G license preferred, but not mandatory. Comfortable with driving Reena's van for transportation purposes (if applicable)

Qualification

Background related to child care, education, social work, psychology, social services, child and youth worker Self-motivated and willing to learn Flexible and adaptive to change Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently. Creativity, patience, and a passion for working with children and youth.

About Reena

Reena is a non-profit organization that promotes dignity, individuality, independence, personal growth and community inclusion for people with diverse abilities within a framework of Jewish culture and values.



Reena was established in 1973 by parents of children with developmental disabilities as a practical alternative to institutions. In 1977, Reena began receiving funding from the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services and since that time has grown to provide support for hundreds of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Reena offers a variety of services including: residential support, respite programs, counselling, therapy and advocacy.
