Your Role as a Recreation Coordinator

You'll bring joy and engagement to residents' daily lives by:

Creating and leading programs in

art, music, gardening, fitness, reading

, and

social events

Planning exciting

monthly activity calendars

and

community outings

Collaborating with

families, volunteers, and care staff

to design meaningful experiences Tracking participation and wellbeing, and reporting observations to clinical staff Supporting residents during meal times and snack periods as needed Recruiting, training, and organizing

volunteers

to enhance programming Working within a set budget and maintaining a

safe, inclusive, and joyful

environment

What You Bring

Graduation from a

recognized recreational therapy program

or equivalent (experience considered) At least

1 year of experience

in a related role preferred Strong

communication

,

organization

, and

time management

skills A

collaborative spirit

, energy, and creativity Ability to work independently and within a team Physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of the role

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
