We are searching for a Full-Time Recreation Coordinator to join our Faubourg du Mascaret team based in Moncton, New Brunwick.

About the Opportunity
  • Planning, implementing and evaluating internal and external recreation programs focusing on emotional, intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual needs of the clients.
  • Conducting recreation programs in a variety of settings, such as large groups, small groups and one-to-one.
  • Preparing rooms, materials and equipment for recreation programs;
  • Motivating and facilitating client participation in recreation programs and involvement with the community.
  • Documenting client progress evaluations, admission assessments and other reports as required.
  • Maintaining accurate client participation records; analyzes data to assist in the development of appropriate programs.
  • Assisting in the training, supervision, and evaluation of volunteers and student placements.
About You
  • You have a two year post secondary diploma in Recreation/Leisure Studies, Undergraduate degree in Recreation/Leisure Studies is an asset.
  • You are an energetic, compassionate person who enjoys working with the elderly and has experience in programming and planning for seniors in a recreational environment.
  • You possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong computer skills.
  • Proof of current, valid CPR and First Aid Certification is an asset.
  • Willing to Obtain Class 4 Driver\'s License required for client transportation
