We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Recovery to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care during the recovery phase post-surgery or medical procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to effectively communicate with patients and their families. Experience in administering medications, and wound care is required.
Duties
Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during the recovery period.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Dressing changes for surgical wounds
Provide patient education regarding post-operative care and recovery processes.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Assess patient needs and respond promptly to any changes in condition or emergencies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients during their recovery.
Requirements
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the province of practice. ( Ontario)
Current up to date BLS and ACLS
Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to nursing and patient care.
Previous experience in a recovery room, surgical unit, or day surgery
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $39.63-$44.72 per hour
Expected hours: 5 - 12 per week
