What\xe2\x80\x99s this position about? We are looking for a self-driven and positive individual to join our Whitehorse Head Office team as a Records Assistant. As a Records Assistant, you will provide a range of records management support to the organization. This position will be digitizing selected YESAB records, creating and updating file inventories, assisting with classification and cataloguing of records, and other related activities. Our ideal candidate will have experience in administration and records management, and must be strong in utilizing all Microsoft applications, especially Excel. What will I be doing?

  • Identifying inactive records eligible for disposition as per YESAB\xe2\x80\x99s approved schedule, ISDA 2017-0011, as per Library and Archives Canada Act s12(1).
  • Create and maintain the electronic inventories and finding aids of YESAB active and inactive records.
  • Supporting YESAB staff with identifying and classifying master administrative and operational records.
  • Ensures records with identifiable personal information are maintained securely.
