Areas of Responsibility:
Providing a positive first impression of the organization to callers and visitors via telephone, in person, online registration, and one-on-one interactions.
Acting as the initial contact between clients, other stakeholders, and the staff of WDG Public Health.
Understanding and providing client-focused service to build and maintain client relationships by interacting positively, understanding their needs, and making sure they feel valued.
Ensuring clients are served according to the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and other privacy acts.
Performing data entry within your level of responsibility in a timely and accurate manner, as the quality of work affects data interpretation at all levels.
Filing, scanning, uploading, and entering clients' results into our database.
Handling of cash and daily close out.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
This position is 100% onsite at our WDG Public Health offices. Remote or hybrid work is not available.

Requirements:
Secondary school diploma, 1 year work experience.
Excellent telephone manner, customer service skills, and client-focused approach.
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to help create a working environment that promotes success.
Basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) tools relevant to administrative and customer service tasks.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent computer, scheduling, and word processing skills.
Numeracy skills.
Tact and discretion required.
Ability to multitask.
Basic problem-solving skills.
Organizational skills and good attention to detail.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
