Steers Insurance Limited is currently seeking a Receptionist to join our office in St. John's, NL. We're not looking for someone to simply answer the phones and transfer calls, this position is an incubator to train and assess candidates for progression to other roles within the organization.

The successful candidate for this role must be interested in education and learning the insurance industry with an eye to moving through that progression.

Qualifications/ skills:

Customer service is second nature for you. You're organized and prioritized. You're always up for learning new things. Interpersonal communication. You enjoy communicating with others and have no trouble initiating conversations. You understand the importance of professionalism and how to maintain the highest level at all times.
The insurance industry is fast-paced, especially at Steers Insurance, a locally owned and operated company known for its excellent client service reputation. Current and potential clients need to know their broker is right here, where they can get face-to-face service from community members just like them.
